We’re always happy to welcome new players to Shrewsbury Badminton Club, whether you’re returning to badminton after a break, looking for a friendly club to play regularly, or simply want to meet new people and enjoy some good competitive games.

Our club sessions are organised through Spond, which we use to manage membership, session availability, attendance and payments.

How to Join

Simply use the Spond link provided to join our club group. Once you’re in, you’ll be able to see all upcoming badminton sessions and club information.

Attending a Session

When a new session is added to Spond, you can simply select Attend if you would like to play. This allows us to keep track of numbers and make sure we have the right number of courts available.

If your plans change, please update your attendance on Spond as soon as possible so that another player can take your place if the session is full.

Our regular sessions are held on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm–9:30pm, and we play with feather shuttles in a friendly but competitive club environment.

Whether you’re joining us for the first time or becoming a regular member, you’ll receive a warm welcome.
